Pureun Arboretum & Hang-dong Railway

Opened in June 2013, Pureun Arboretum is a huge park (103,354 square meters) in 43, Hang-dong, Guro-gu. It is not only the first arboretum in Seoul, but also an environment-friendly arboretum that harmoniously intermingles with the existing natural landscape and reservoir. It offers themed gardens focused on exhibition, experience, and education; they include Herb Garden, Rock Garden, British Garden, French Garden, Miro (Maze) Garden, and Horticulture Experience Site. It is open between 5 a.m. and 10 p.m. to accommodate walking enthusiasts in the morning and at night. The arboretum also offers diverse, exciting programs for residents such as book concert, lectures, and healing concert. The nearby Hang-dong Railroad Track can also be linked to the arboretum for visitors who want to enjoy quiet, serene time.
