Basic Physical Exam

Health Promotion Information Center provides personalized exercise routines that fit an individual’s needs based on fitness level and body composition test results gained by using scientific equipment.

  • Eligibility: residents of Guro
  • Hours: all year around (Mon-Fri, 09:00~16:00)
  • How to Use: Visit in person to schedule an appointment or call
  • Fee: 5,000 won

Operation of prevention of lifestyle-related diseases and exercise classes

Burn Stomach Fat 560 exercise class

  • Eligibility: Any resident of Guro who wants to lose weight, less than 60 years of age, and with BMI 25 or more
  • Duration: 3 months (12 weeks), three days a week (Mon, Wed, Fri)
  • Time: Part 1- 10:00 ~ 1130, Part 2- 13:30 ~ 15:00
  • Capacity: 15 ~ 20 or less per part
  • How to Participate: on a first-come-first-serve basis after the Guro Newsletter is published every three months (application received after the pre-test)
  • Location: 10th floor, Health Promotion Center
  • Contents: stretching, dumbbells, resistance bands, aerobic exercise (walking, hiking), etc.

Lower Back Muscle Pain Management Exercise Class

  • Eligibility: Any resident of Guro who is under 65 years of age (except for severe back pain patients and people who are unable to exercise)
  • Duration: 3 months (12 weeks), two days a week (Tues, Thurs)
  • Time: 10:00 ~ 11:00
  • Capacity: less than 30
  • How to Participate: on a first-come-first-serve basis after the Guro Newsletter is published every three months (application received after the pre-test)
  • Location: 10th floor, Health Promotion Center
  • Contents: Yoga, Pilates (gym balls, dumbbells, resistance bands)
