How does tooth decay occur?

4 Stages of tooth decay

Stage 1 - initial stage

There is no pain but treatment is necessary.When observed carefully, a black dot or line is visible on the surfaces of the teeth or on the inside of the teeth Since cold and hot foods do not cause pain, it can only be detected through dental checkups. Regular dental checkups are necessary for early detection.

Stage 2 - rotten dentin stage

Hot and cold stimulation is felt. Treatment is not too late. There are holes in the teeth and hot and cold stimulation can be felt. However, when you do not eat, there is no pain.

Stage 3 - damaged nerve tissue stage

If the above stage 2 is endured, then stimulation and pain is caused especially by hot foods. The teeth can be saved by endodontic treatment.

Stage 4 - inflammation of nerves with pus seeping into the bones.
