Providing Oral Health Services for Vulnerable Children

This program aims to enhance the oral health of the community by providing oral health services to vulnerable groups such as preschool children, fourth graders, and children from community centers who are at risk of oral diseases.

  • Oral health education and fluoride application for pre-school children

Oral health education and fluoride application for pre-school children

Eligibility

  • Oral Education: 4-7 years old
  • Fluoride Application: 6-7 years old

Services

  • Health education on the role of teeth, timing, and method of brushing, selection and storage of toothbrushes
  • Group sessions in kindergartens with high-fluoride toothpaste for fluoride application

Dentist for students and children program

Eligibility

  • 4th-grade students in elementary schools
  • Individuals under 18 years old in special schools, child welfare facilities, disability welfare facilities, or recipients of the National Basic Livelihood Security System

Services

  • Student Dentist: Oral examination, oral education, and preventive treatment (sealants, scaling, fluoride application, etc.)
  • Child Dentist: Oral examination, oral education, preventive treatment, and disease treatment (cavity treatment, nerve treatment, extraction, etc.)
