Care for Pregnant Women

Registration for Pregnant Women: Register at the public health center in early pregnancy
Required Documents: Pregnancy confirmation document, ID with Guro District address (Employment verification for those employed within the district)
Early Pregnancy Tests: Tests within the first 12 weeks of pregnancy include Hepatitis B, Hemoglobin, Platelets, HIV, Syphilis, Rubella immunity, Liver function (GPT, GOT), Kidney function, Urine tests, etc.
Folic Acid Support: Provided up to 12 weeks from pregnancy confirmation
Second Trimester Quad Screen (Blood Test): Conducted between 16 to 18 weeks of pregnancy
- Pre-test Preparation: Visit within 3-4 days (up to a week) after an ultrasound at an obstetrics clinic to verify the exact date of the ultrasound, pregnancy week, and weight
- Test Result Confirmation: Receive via text within a week or collect in person with ID
- Testing Hours: Monday to Friday, before 5 PM
Iron Supplement Support: Provided from the 16th week of pregnancy for up to 5 months based on the remaining period of pregnancy (Medical opinion required if additional due to anemia)
Maternity Emblem Badge and Standard Maternity Health Booklet Provided
Pregnancy Car Sticker Issued: Visit with a vehicle registration certificate (copy acceptable)
Lunch Hour: 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
Visit Location: Maternity Clinic (3rd floor), Guro Public Health Center

Breast Pump Rental: Reserve on the Guro Public Health Center's website and pick it up in person

※ Automatic cancellation if not collected within 3 days from the application date

Rental Period: 1 month (Possible extension for another month subject to availability, call confirmation required for extension)

※ Must apply for an extension one week before the return date

Status of Breastfeeding Rooms in Guro District File Download

Eligibility: Employed women residing in Guro District
Date and Time: Every second Saturday of the month from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM (No services on public holidays that fall on scheduled days)
Services Offered: Prenatal care for pregnant women (early pregnancy tests, provision of folic acid, and iron supplements, etc.)
Unavailable Services: Chest X-rays and fasting blood sugar tests
※ From January 2023, the Open Health Center (Maternity Clinic) will operate. (Every second Saturday of the month from 9 AM to 12 PM, closed on public holidays.)
