Total support for essential vaccinations (free assistance program for children under the age of 12)
“Total support for essential vaccinations” is a program for children under the age of 12 through which the entire cost of vaccinations is provided if the vaccination is received at a public health center or any private medical institution designated by the head of the gu district.

What do I need to prepare when going for a vaccination?
The guardian shall carry a copy of resident registration (to verify the address) and the baby journal (to verify vaccination records) and visit the consigned medical institution.
(A foreign applicant shall prepare a copy of proof of alien registration.)
The following are the things that guardians must know.
- Vaccination cost assistance may not be provided at medical institutions not designated for the national vaccination support program.
- Tuberculosis is a subject of BCG (intradermal) cost support.
- Excluded from the national vaccination support program: Typhoid, hemorrhagic fever related renal syndrome, influenza (flu)
